My Custom Bamboo Brush for Adobe Illustrator

I love using Adobe Illustrator and have found it to be extremely useful throughout my career. I have been lucky enough to work in the tropics and this custom illustrator brush is one of the by-products of my fondness for all-things-tropical.

As you can see from the image, the brush can be tinted and of course, applied to any vector shape you create. The coolest part of it though is that it will “tie-off” the corners when they are at an angle.

I am making this custom bamboo brush available for free download to the public, but if you’re going to use it for commercial purposes, please give me a call and we can work something out.

Feel free to check out how I made the brush by dragging the shapes to the artboard – it wasn’t easy and required many tries to get it just right. Let me know if you find it useful.

If you download the brush, please hit the +1 button here:

Oh, please let me know if you like it! I’d love to see what you use it for!

Thanks,

Adam

New Website & Corporate Identity

I just completed a new project for a social media company. This project included the design of their new logo.

The site contains social media widgets and is built in wordpress, so the client can do their own updates.

Surfside Community Center Opening Day

On Sunday, June 19th, the new Community Center in Surfside opened it’s doors – and a lot of people showed up.

It was a great time with free food, free photo booths, a DJ, balloons, ice cream… The list goes on and on and the town did a fantastic job! The evening concluded with a great fireworks show, right in front of our building!

Here’s a panoramic photo I put together from the event.
